The Rotary San Jose Climate Action Committee (RCAC) is dedicated to driving Rotary San Jose's journey to carbon neutrality through community building, education, offsetting of our climate impact, and providing a significant environmental benefit in the community.

We currently meet monthly, regular cadence TBD. Attend our next meeting or reach out to learn more about current projects and opportunities to contribute.
If you’d like to attend, please contact committee chairs, Shawn Gerth (shawn@veggielution.org) and Megan Fluke (megan@meganfluke.org).

Mission Statement:
- To develop a repertoire of best practices with highest impact within our individual control to combating climate change.
- To share best practices with other Rotary clubs and community organizations as invited.
- To encourage individuals to assume responsibility and personally act in ways that will bring the quickest ROI to reducing CO2 emissions, such as switching to solar, electrifying sources, and reduction of burning wood.
These proposals are in line with Rotary International’s grassroots efforts to explore ways and means to make our environment more sustainable.
