Other Youth Protection issues:
In addition to the training program, if you ever find yourself serving at a Rotary Event or Activity where youth are present, please make certain that you are not working with only one child at a time. You need to have at least two or more youth with you at a time. Also, please make sure there is a second adult in the immediate vicinity. This is to protect you and the Club. If you are a part of a committee that is conducting a youth event, the District may require that you complete additional training. Please contact me for the instructions to complete these additional items. Contact me at email@example.com if you become involved with Rotary Youth Exchange there is an entirely different and separate training system required by the US Secretary of State! Please contact me for those instructions. firstname.lastname@example.org
Your Committee Chair will tell you if the Committee members are required to go through any additional Youth Protection Programs. Some Committee events that you might attend will ask you to sign an YP attendance roster also.
Remember you can always contact me. email@example.com
Thank you for doing this.
